My sister was given this photo sometime in 1991. It was given to her by a Catholic Nun who was a
teacher at her private school. The story is that the Nun was diagnosed with a serious case of cancer
so she decided to travel to Medjugorje on a religious pilgrimage seeking healing and peace. While in
pre-civil war Yugoslavia this photo was taken that, later when developed, revealed this miraculous
photo of the Virgin Mary. The Nun was totally healed of her cancer. I do not know exactly when the
photo was taken but I assume it was taken somewhere around 1985- 1991. I've always cherished
this photo and finally got around to scanning it today.
