Sir/Madam,
The thing I would like your opinion about isn't really about a photo but about an event.( I do have
2 pics ill include them)
It happend to me last week. I was in the french alps I was climbing to some abandond french
WWII complex(a large tunnel and bunker complex/fort at 2800 meter in the mountains) When I
finally, after a two hour climb with ropes and icepicks came at the complex I made some pics of
the bunkers then i discoverd a bunker lying 40 meters downhill on the otherside of the mountain
top. I secured a rope on a bunker and started to repell down. After 10 meters my rope got loss
and i tumbled down. just in time i could reach my iceaxe and stop myself from falling down.
(otherwise i would have landed on the spikes that were sticking out of the bunker down below)
I'm a experianced mountainier from the dutch army and I know that i secured the rope right, i
tripple checked it since i secured it to an 72 year old bunker. When I got down i looked for an
entrance of the bunker i dug a hole in the snow and found an entry. I made a picture there of the
door. There was a line above the door: maison (momo) du diable a vous la mort---home (????)of
the devil enter and get killed (something like that) I visited over 40 bunkers in those mountains
and no were i found graffity or drawings probably cause its just unreachable for normal hikers. I
made 7 pictures of the inside and around the bunker.I always look how the pictures turn out the
one I made of the entrytunnel totally freeked me out. The was a face visible not clear visible but
white smoke like. I got out of the bunker as fast as i could. Also something that was strange the
sheetmetal that covert the prisonlike door was bent outside. I tryed to bent it evenmore. you
would need at least a car to bent it the way it was...
Also when i was in there there was something that didnt felt right like i was being watched. There
also came a strange smell out of the bunker and it was a kinda warm slight breeze which I found
strange cause it was -10 outside (1300 hour)
When i came down at the place i was staying I only had 2 photo's left on the camera of the
bunker downbelow. One with the text on it above the door.And the one with the ghost face on it.
When i wanted to put those 2 photo's on my laptop i could only see the photo with the line on it
the face photo was damaged according to my computer and I found no way to open it. Neither did
the guy that workes with the computers in my unit.
Later when i was looking at the one photo that did work I saw some shadows on the far end of
the tunnel (it was triangulair and those shadows were out of place. When i zoomed in after
marking the shadows I saw another face when i pulled my laptop screen towards me.
Can you tell me something about what i experenced? It totally freeked me out especially cause
my rope got unhoocked which nearly killed me and I know for surten that it was secured the right
way. I checked it and there was no way I could gotten lose on its own...There were in the snow no
marks of other people just old wolf trails.

I would proceed with caution should you ever go back there. It does say house of the devil.

you to join them I imagine. You are very brave for even venturing into that place. Is it possible
for you to send me the full size image. I have no doubt that you have seen a face in that first
photograph. I cannot however see it nor enhance it from such a small photograph. If you can
send me the full size unaltered image and we will see what we can see within it. Your story is
the thing they make movies out of and I am very intrigued by it. As I said before you are a
very brave man and you have my respect. There are dead solders there and perhaps they do

The near dead experiance from the rope scared me to much im never going back and expecially not
alone...Kinda funny im not scared of taliban but I am of an old bunker...I must point out i didn't knew the
place was haunted i just love to visit old bunkers true Europe..Especially these cause they were sealed
with all the equipment in them guns...ammo...beds..electronecs egines etc. For the record the complex is
called le lavoir it is part of the font line line maginot at the time there were 225 people stationed in the
complex.
There were havy fights between the french and the italians at that place. Another thing i remember
there was a vent pipe. I made a photo out of it but it disapaird from the camera.The pipe had shot holes
but the strange thing. it only had exit hole so a hole that starts in te pipe and exits on the outside (its a
finger thick metal around the same size of hole) im possible if you ask me...
I sended the photo to a normal computer screen and you cant see it there. I tink its cause the screen
uses a lesser amount of pixels then lcd(the photo is enormesly zoomed in. so i made a pic from my laptop
screen and now its clearly visible. On the S500131 photo you should look in the upper left corner of the
tunnel...there you can see a dark figure...i started to look there for a better image then i found the face.
cause when i was there and i lighted up the tunnel with a flash light there weren't any curves. It was a
strait 8 meter long tunnel that made a 90 degree curve to the left in the end. but besides that it was just
a smooth tunnel wall all 5 sides.
